Overview

Summary

Multiple NetApp products incorporate Perl. In Perl versions through 5.26.2 the Archive::Tar module is susceptible to a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to overwrite files via a specially crafted tar archive.

Impact

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to the modification of Perl accessible data via a specially crafted tar archive.
