Summary
Multiple NetApp products incorporate rpcbind. LIBTIRPC versions through 1.0.1 and 1.0.2-rc3, NTIRPC versions through 1.4.3, and rpcbind versions through 0.2.4 are susceptible to a vulnerability which when successfully exploited could lead to Denial of Service(DoS). This vulnerability is referred to as rpcbomb.
Impact
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability by remote attackers could lead to a Denial of Service (DoS).
