Summary
Multiple NetApp products incorporate the OpenSSL software libraries to provide cryptographic capabilities. OpenSSL versions through 1.0.2m and 1.1.0g are susceptible to a vulnerability that could allow an attacker to recover encryption keys and access protected communications.

Workarounds
Clustered Data ONTAP & NetApp Storage Encryption: Beginning with version 9.0, default SSL ciphers can be manually disabled using the "security config" command. For this CVE disable DH ciphers.
Beginning with OnCommand Workflow Automation for Windows 4.2 the ActiveState ActivePerl software can be upgraded to obtain a newer version of OpenSSL as specified in the product documentation. For assistance with the upgrade, please consult technical support.
