Overview

Summary

Multiple NetApp® products contain the Network Time Protocol daemon (ntpd). The Open NTP project (www.ntp.org) has released a Security Notice regarding vulnerabilities that affect versions before ntp-4.2.8p10. These vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code, escalate privileges, cause a process crash or a denial of service condition.

Impact

Exploitation of these vulnerabilities may lead to arbitrary code execution, privilege escalation, process crashing or a denial of service condition.
