Summary
Multiple NetApp products incorporate the Linux kernel. Any system containing the Linux kernel is susceptible to a vulnerability referred to as Dirty COW that could be exploited to allow local users to gain privileges. NetApp is investigating which products use affected versions of the Linux kernel. This advisory will be updated as additional information becomes available.
Impact
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may lead to an unauthorized user privilege escalation.
