Summary
Multiple NetApp products utilize the TLS protocol. Any system using the TLS protocol is susceptible to a suite of vulnerabilities which when exploited could potentially lead to arbitrary code execution. The various unsafe uses of MD5 signatures in the TLS protocol have been referred to as the SLOTH (Security Losses from Obsolete and Truncated Transcript Hashes) attack. This advisory will be updated as additional information becomes available.

Exploitation of these vulnerabilities could potentially lead to arbitrary code execution.
