Summary

Multiple NetApp products incorporate the Oracle Java Platform, Standard Edition (Java SE) software libraries. Java SE (JDK and JRE) versions through 7u291, 8u281, 11.0.10, 16 and Java SE Embedded version 8u281 are susceptible to multiple vulnerabilities that could allow an unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Java SE or Java SE Embedded.

Impact

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could lead to unauthorized creation, deletion or modification access to critical data or all Java SE or Java SE Embedded.

Beginning with OnCommand Workflow Automation for Linux & Windows 4.2, OnCommand Unified Manager for Linux & Windows 7.2, NetApp Service Level Manager 1.0, and OnCommand API Services 1.2 the Java software libraries can be upgraded as specified in the product documentation. OnCommand Insight 7.3.2 and higher on Linux and 7.3.9 and higher on Windows support upgrading Java. For assistance with the upgrade and access to the updated OnCommand Insight binaries, please consult technical support.
