Summary
Multiple NetApp products incorporate the Linux kernel. Linux kernel versions 3.9 and higher are susceptible to a vulnerability related to the reassembly of fragmented IPv4 and IPv6 packets. A remote attacker could send specially crafted packets to cause Denial of Service (DoS). This vulnerability is referred to as FragmentSmack.
Impact
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker cause Denial of Service (DoS).
