Summary

Multiple NetApp products incorporate the OpenSSH software libraries. OpenSSH versions between 5.4 and 7.1 are susceptible to vulnerabilities that may be exploited to cause a denial of service or obtain sensitive information. NetApp is investigating which products use affected versions of OpenSSH. This advisory will be updated as additional information becomes available.

Impact

Exploitation of these vulnerabilities may lead to a denial of service or the unauthorized disclosure of information including private keys under some circumstances.
